future parks creative packs

WE HAVE NOW RUN OUT OF PACKS AND HAVE CLOSED OUR SUBMISSIONS, WE'RE MAKING UP PACKS THIS WEEKEND AND THEY'LL BE POSTED OUT THE W/C 19TH APRIL

We are working with Birmingham Open Spaces Forum to find out young people’s hopes and dreams for the future of our city’s parks and green spaces.

We have 50 free creative packs to send to young people under 16, who live or go to school in B30, including equipment such as scissors and glue. Packs will also include an ideas card to guide people in their creation. Once you’re done, send it back to us In the stamped addressed envelope or you can share a photo with us on social media.

These stories and dreams will be shared with Birmingham City Council and will influence how our parks and green spaces are shaped over the coming years. Everyone’s voice is important, especially children and young people who will get to use the green spaces for many years to come.

There are three kinds available; aged 1-5 years old, 6-11 years old, or the 12-16 year old pack. Each pack includes differing equipment and an age appropriate prompt card created by a trained youth worker and artist.

All packs will be sent out on the 20th April and responses need to be with us by the 5th May.

All creations we receive will be entered into a random prize draw to win a mystery prize.
